The vitra Eames Plastic Armchair - DAR is the modern re-edition of the legendary Fiberglass Chair from 1950. The Eames Armchair is considered an important design classic among modern chairs. This vitra armchair was the first industrially manufactured chair made of plastic. The polypropylene seat shell is recyclable. This makes this chair significantly more environmentally friendly than its earlier fiberglass design.
