Home office desk in solid oak, from Ercol. British designer Matthew Hilton designed the Treviso desk as elegant and practical furniture for the modern home office. The modern design is based on the Scandinavian designs of the mid-century modern design and combines this with the tradition of the elegant lady desks of the 19th century. The Ercol Treviso Desk is an elegant piece of furniture that can also be integrated very well into a living room to save space. 

The Treviso is made in England from solid oak. Two drawers serve as storage compartments. A practical hole in the rear wall lets cables disappear.

The British furniture manufacturer Ercol is considered a new discovery, although the family-run company has been producing at its headquarters in Princess Risborough north of London since 1920. Ercol has been famous since the 1950s for the "Steam Bending" process, through which, for example, straight solid wood strips can be bent around the tightest radii using hot steam, creating beautiful and filigree shapes.
