The unique Ercol wooden bench with the wonderful name Loveseat was designed by Lucian R. Ercolani in 1956 - 1960 and has been a design classic of the mid-century modern era for years.

The design furniture is exceptional in form and quality. When the first version of this wooden bench came onto the market, it was predicted that this bench would one day be considered a design classic and an "icon" of Ercol's Windsor style. Whether as a standalone bench or a dining table bench, the Ercol "Loveseat" is made for two who get along well or very well.

The design classic comes from Ercol's "Originals" and is made entirely without screws, from solid wood in beech & elm or beech & walnut. For this purpose, the legs of the bench are wedged and glued using the "wedge joint" technique, as is the case with Ercol's butterfly chair. The seat made of elm wood (Rüster) is 112 cm wide and has two milled seat recesses. The curved backrest made of beech wood is still formed from straight wooden slats using the steam bending process and is connected to the seat with 19 filigree rods. There are numerous modern colors to choose from, which round off the design and can enrich any interior, whether classic or modern. The Ercol Loveseat is also available in 7 modern colours, either fully lacquered or with an accentuated transition. Ercol has been producing solid wood furniture at its Princess Risborough headquarters north of London for almost 100 years. The family business has committed itself to a consistently high standard in the manual production process, quality and ecological and social responsibility.
