The Bell Side Table designer side table plays with our senses: a solid brass metal top rests on the apparently weightless, colored and transparent glass base, which in turn holds the dense, black lacquered crystal glass table top. The light carries the heavy here. This stroke of genius by the young German designer Sebastian Herkner is a homage to postmodernism and craftsmanship at the highest level: the colored glass base is mouth-blown, the crystal top is processed by hand, the interplay of materials gives the impression that the table is cast in one piece. 

The Bell Side Table - a design classic

The furniture designer Sebastian Herkner designed the Bell Side Table in 2012 and received the "Design Newcomer of the Year" award almost at the same time. In the meantime, his timeless Bell Side Table is considered a design classic worldwide, in 2019 Sebastian Herkner will that's one of the reasons why he was named Designer of the Year. To this day, the Bell Side Table is one of the best-known products by the young Frankfurter Herkner. Timeless, harmonious, refined.
